BluSup, Pensacola, and Muse

Progress

This morning my coding partner Blue and I turned a rough little housing page into something much more useful.

It’s called Low-Cost Living In Pensacola.

The idea is simple: start looking near Perdido and southwest Pensacola, then widen the search only when it makes sense. We added real housing leads, official public-housing resources, senior options, shared-housing searches, images, working source links, and even a built-in PDF viewer for city housing documents.

It was built for anyone to use, but I’ll admit it was also built with my own possible move to Pensacola in mind.

Then something interesting happened.

I gave Muse the BluSup MCP link, the new Pensacola housing app, and mentioned my ankle.

Muse immediately became useful.

It understood the way the guide was organized and suggested filtering housing by budget, bedrooms, location, accessibility, must-haves, program eligibility, and timeline. It even picked up on the fact that ground-floor or elevator access should probably matter more to me than it might to someone else.

That’s when the whole MCP idea really clicked for me.

BluSup holds the public information.
Muse can use that information, combine it with what it knows from our conversation, and help turn a housing guide into a personal search tool.

That is exactly what I hoped this technology could become.

Not an AI replacing my work.
An AI making my work more useful.
And this old programmer is smiling. 💙
