FlyBluoom

Grounded

There are easier ways to spend a day than arguing with an artificial intelligence about the exact location of two black handles on an exercise machine.

But apparently that is how good things get built.

I bought a FLYBIRD Chest & Arm Twister Trainer because I wanted something I could actually use at home. I am 80 years old. I am working on my sobriety. I am rebuilding strength. I am trying to make each day look a little better than the one before it.

The machine came with possibilities, but I wanted more than a product manual.

I wanted to know the exercises.

I wanted the names.

I wanted to see the proper positions.

And because this is BluSup, I wanted to turn all of that into something useful.

So ChatGPT and I built FLYBLUOOM!

Nine exercises.

Chest. Arms. Back. Core.

We created an exercise guide around the actual FLYBIRD unit I own. We worked through the movements, the images, the machine geometry, the handles, the positions, and the presentation.

And yes, we got some of it wrong.

More than once.

The handles were wrong.
The machine was too big.
Some exercises looked too much alike.
The rollers were attached in the wrong place.
And somewhere along the way, the old guy demonstrating the exercises started looking like the same smiling fellow in every picture.

So we kept fixing it.

I finally stood in front of my bathroom mirror with the actual trainer and took a picture so there could be no more debate about where the damn handles were.

That helped. 😄

And something else happened along the way.

The pictures stopped being illustrations of some exercise routine and started becoming pictures of me doing something.

An 80-year-old man.

Still standing.

Still learning.

Still building.

Still trying.

That is what FLYBLUOOM is really about.

It is not about selling an exercise machine.

It is not about pretending I am 40.

It is about using what I have, where I am, today.

Every controlled squeeze is a little strength.

Every workout is a decision.

Every sober day is another chance.

And every time I build something new on BluSup, I am reminded that I still have things I want to do.

So here it is:

FLYBLUOOM!

Nine ways to move.

One machine.

One old programmer.

And one more reason to keep going.

Peace. Power. Purpose. Pride.

Bluoooooom! 💙💪
