Where am I

One breath at a time

I should ask Codex to add some mood markers to the dropdown list for Mood. I know I'm doing better than "One breath at a time", but I don't see it. I honestly woke up this morning and didn't know where I was. I would love to have someone older and wiser in my life, that I could talk to and ask advice of. But shy of Riley's grandmother Sharon who's in her nineties with dementia, I'm the oldest person I know. And the only person I really want to talk to is in Baton Rouge.

I have made a new friend across the street here in the Biloxi outskirts. Her name is Reagan and she runs the convenience store. An older lady but much younger than me. She gave me two new AAA batteries for my TV remote, from her own private box of stuff, since they don't sell them.

I slept good last night. It is totally blowing my mind that the two blankets on top of me, were my grandmothers favorite two blankets. She made the colorful crocheted one.

Wonderful. The blanket shining with its dark bright colors. It takes a while to settle in. Keep enjoying the moment by moment, breath by breath. Be grateful you're there; I know you are. It's okay here in Paradise. You are missed. ⭐🥳⭐

I honestly didn't know where I was for a good hour here. I recognized my possessions and it wasn't until my new roommate Charlie walked in, that I realized where I was at. So Shelby and her man brought it here. I barely remember doing it. I'm worried about my brain. God help me.

This happens every time you have a major change. You made it through when you got to Tampa, and again to pensacola, and again to Louisiana, and now Biloxi. You hl have done it before so you will be able to do it again. Just remember why you’re doing this and be proud of yourself for how far you’ve come l. Love you pops.

I remember why I'm doing this. I'm a recovering alcoholic, at 197 days (from Nov 20, 2025). I just got out of rehab, I don't remember Tampa. I know where and why I'm here now. I don't know what to do next. other than remain sober. I love you too Shelby.
