BluSup 250 is live!

I created a free visual guide to America’s 250th birthday celebrations, stories, historic places, service projects, music, parks, museums and community events across the Mississippi Gulf Coast and beyond.

The project now includes 35 individually shareable pages, each with its own original visual treatment, event information, public-source links and full story.

This began as a local guide and grew into something much larger: a collection of Gulf Coast, Mississippi and national America 250 stories that communities and organizations can share directly.

Please share the guide with anyone who loves the Gulf Coast, Mississippi history, community celebrations or America’s 250th birthday.

Local media pitch

Subject: Biloxi developer launches 35-page visual guide to America’s 250th birthday

Hello,

I am a Biloxi resident who began programming in 1969 and will turn 80 this year. I recently built BluSup 250, a free visual guide to America’s 250th birthday across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Mississippi and selected national programs.

The project includes 35 individually shareable pages covering celebrations, history, museums, parks, service projects, music and community events. Each page has its own visual treatment, event details and public-source links.

BluSup 250:

I believe the combination of local public service, Gulf Coast history, America 250 and a nearly 80-year-old developer still building modern web projects may make an interesting community story.

I would be happy to provide screenshots, background information or an interview.

Thank you,
Jim Hamilton

News angle

The human-interest hook is a nearly 80-year-old developer, programming since 1969, building a modern Gulf Coast public-service platform.

Guardrails

Promote boldly and responsibly

Share page links freely, but keep the archival PNG masters private. Use the public watermarked WebPs for outreach, verify event details with organizers, and describe the visuals as original promotional artwork rather than documentary photography.
