Yesterday turned into one of those good BluSup days.
I finally got my camera talking to my laptop, pulled down all the photos, and started turning loose images into real photo sets. Not just a pile of files sitting in a folder, but actual browsable sets with thumbnails, full-size viewing, zoom, back-to-thumbnails, previous and next buttons, and a clean BluSup-style layout.
That may sound simple, but it feels big to me.
There is something satisfying about taking pictures with a real camera, downloading them myself, organizing them into a folder, and then seeing them come alive inside a little app we built. It is another piece of BluSup becoming practical. Not theoretical. Not “someday.” Real.

That link should also test yesterday’s MB journal improvement, where plain pasted URLs become clickable links automatically. So this post is part memory, part field report, and part live code test.
The Photo App is almost there now. We removed the little upper-right button because it was not helping anything. Then we fixed the footer so the bottom links go right back to the top of the photo thumbnails instead of jumping to the page logo. That is exactly the kind of small polish that makes a tool feel finished.
And now I have a reason to use it.
Friday I’m planning to go to Scrapin’ the Coast and take a bunch of new pictures. Cars, trucks, bikes, people, color, chrome, Gulf Coast summer energy — it should be a perfect test for the new Photo App. I want to come home with enough shots to build a fresh photo set and see how the app handles a real outing.
On the same trip, I’m also planning to stop at Hancock Whitney and open a new account. That feels like another little Biloxi milestone. New home base, new routes, new routines, new bank, new photo app, and me still moving forward.
That is the part I like most.
I’m not just sitting here talking about building things. I’m using them.
