I’ve been building something special, and today I want to officially say it out loud.
BluSup 250 is live.
What started as an idea has turned into a real working guide for America’s 250th birthday, beginning here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and growing outward into Mississippi and beyond. The site is built to help people find celebrations, fireworks, festivals, music, history, family events, exhibits, and national 250th birthday moments all in one place.
You can see it here:
Over the last several weeks, I’ve worked with ChatGPT as my research partner, code partner, and fact-checking sidekick. Together, we’ve gone through official event sources, public listings, local coverage, state information, and national America 250 material to build something that is actually useful, attractive, and growing.
This is not just a plain event list. It’s becoming a real BluSup guide.
Right now, BluSup 250 includes researched categories, individual event boxes, better presentation, and a much stronger front page than where we started. It lets people browse celebrations by type, then open up individual events with summaries, dates, times, places, and source links to verify details.
That part matters to me. I don’t just want a pretty page. I want something people can actually use.
What I really love is that this project feels bigger than just one page. It feels like BluSup doing exactly what BluSup is supposed to do — taking scattered information, organizing it carefully, presenting it beautifully, and turning it into something practical for real people.
We’ve already added a lot, and there is more coming. My goal is to make BluSup 250 one of the best America’s 250th birthday guide sites around. I want it to keep expanding with better event coverage, better images, better categories, and more useful information as new celebrations are announced.
So this is both a launch and a beginning.
I’m proud of what we’ve created here. I’m grateful for the research help, the coding help, the design help, and the steady push to make it better each day. This one really feels like a team effort.
BOOM.
